About ISDP

The story behind the program that bridges centuries of Islamic scholarship with the frontiers of modern technology.

A Mission Born from Necessity

Islamic scholars — Ulema — spend years mastering Dars-e-Nizami, one of the world's most rigorous classical curricula. Yet upon graduation, many face limited economic opportunities in a rapidly digitalizing world.

ISDP was born to solve this. We provide world-class software development education, completely free, to Dars-e-Nizami graduates — so they can achieve economic independence while using technology to amplify their religious knowledge and outreach.

Our dual mission: economic self-reliance for scholars, and empowering digital da'wah — Islamic education and outreach for the 21st century.

Jamia Ashrafia — A Legacy Since 1947

Jamia Ashrafia was established in 1947 in Lahore, Pakistan — the same year the nation was born. For over seven decades, it has been one of the most respected Islamic institutions in South Asia, producing thousands of scholars, jurists, and teachers.

Located at 72 Ferozepur Road, Fazlia Colony, Muslim Town, Lahore, the institution's Dars-e-Nizami program is recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan and has an official No Objection Certificate (NOC) for ISDP.

ISDP operates as a department within Jamia Ashrafia, meaning students study in a familiar Islamic environment while receiving cutting-edge tech training.
